Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking an experienced First Line Risk & Control Associate Director to lead a team focused on risk management within the company's risk framework. You will drive risk assessments, control enhancements, and regulatory compliance efforts across business units to strengthen the control environment.
The role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders to meet regulatory standards.
Competenze
- 10+ years in Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Internal Audit or similar field.
- Advanced knowledge of control testing and controls design.
- Strong leadership experience and team management.
- Deep understanding of general banking operations and services.
- Experience with risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting.

- Identify, quantify, and report risk across the Bank to support informed decisions.
- Lead a team to perform risk and control assessments and document processes.
- Develop and enhance controls to mitigate regulatory and business risks.
- Collaborate across the firm to strengthen risk management practices.
