Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its Rights Management team within the Legal and Business Affairs group at the Los Angeles headquarters. You will independently execute end-to-end contract and rights management processes for entertainment and consumer products IP.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of IP rights experience, strong knowledge of IP law, and hands-on work with RightsLogic and related tools, partnering with stakeholders across Legal, IT, Finance, and business

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IP or rights management within entertainment/consumer products.
• Strong knowledge of IP law and licensing concepts.
• Experience translating contracts into machine-readable rights data (territory, channel, language, product/category).

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex ownership and licensing terms to create rights records.
• Manage data integrity in the RightsLogic system and support system enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with Legal, IT, Finance, and business units.
