The ideal candidate has 2+ years in IP/rights management, familiarity with RightsLogic, and the ability to collaborate across Legal, IT, Finance, and various brand teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IP or rights management within media, entertainment, or consumer products.
• Knowledge of IP law and licensing concepts.
• Experience with enterprise rights management platforms (RightsLogic preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Tech-savvy, proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in Mattel's IP portfolio and rights.
• Help digitize historic agreements into the rights management system.
• Analyze ownership and licensing arrangements and escalate inquiries when needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to guide rights inquiries and maintain accurate records.
• Serve as a super user of the rights management system and suggest enhancements.
• Partner with Legal, IT, Finance, Royalty Accounting, and business units to drive adoption.
• Interface with IP, In-/Out-Licensing, Franchise, Permissions & Promotions, and Digital Games legal teams.
