Luster is seeking a Senior Right of Way Engineer in Sacramento to support large transit capital programs, focusing on right-of-way plans, legal descriptions, parcel mapping, and easement coordination across design, survey, acquisition, and construction.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, managing agency reviews, evaluating impacts, coordinating easements, title work, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong mentoring and software skills are preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of right-of-way engineering for large, complex projects.
• Experience reviewing right-of-way plans, legal descriptions, parcel maps, and easement exhibits.

Responsabilidades

• Review right-of-way plans, parcel maps, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits for alignment and rights needs.
• Oversee right-of-way deliverables through agency review and approval, resolving comments across design, survey, and real property teams.
• Evaluate design changes for right-of-way impact and advise on acquisition risk, schedule exposure, and mitigations.
• Coordinate temporary and permanent easements, rights of entry, and access agreements to match contractor rights.
• Oversee title research, boundary resolution, encroachment analysis, and record-of-survey work.
• Mentor less experienced right-of-way engineers and ensure technical accuracy and program conformance.
