You will coordinate across design, survey, acquisition, and construction teams to ensure timely and compliant property rights for project delivery. The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, reviewing complex right-of-way deliverables, and coordinating with agencies to align with construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/transportation engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of right-of-way engineering experience on large, complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience reviewing right-of-way plans, legal descriptions, parcel maps, and easement exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Review right-of-way plans, parcel maps, legal descriptions, and easement exhibits.
• Oversee right-of-way engineering deliverables through agency review and approval.
• Evaluate design changes for right-of-way impact and advise on acquisition risk and schedule exposure.
• Coordinate temporary and permanent easements and access agreements.
• Oversee title research, boundary resolution, and encroachment analysis.
• Coordinate across acquisition agents, appraisers, legal counsel, and agency staff.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and review their work for accuracy.
