Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Rheumatology to be based across the South New York/Maine/New England territory. You will lead scientific exchanges with KOLs and HCPs, develop a strategic territory plan, and deliver evidence-based medical information to support patient care.

The role requires a Doctorate-level degree, 2+ years as an MSL, strong analytical skills, and up to 70% travel across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent in a relevant life sciences field.
• Minimum 2+ years as an MSL with evidence of field-based engagement.
• Strong scientific and therapeutic knowledge across immunology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a scientific engagement plan for the territory aligned with strategy.
• Engage in high-quality two-way scientific exchange with HCPs and KOLs.
• Build professional relationships with community and academic clinicians.
• Deliver tailored scientific data to healthcare professionals through balanced dialogue.
• Submit high-quality actionable insights to inform medical strategy and asset planning.
• Travel up to 70% to cover the territory and attend internal/external meetings.
