Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology to cover a multi-state territory including the NYC area, New England, and the mid-Atlantic. The role focuses on providing non-promotional, evidence-based scientific exchange to health care professionals and investigators.

The Senior MSL will build trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, deliver clinical data, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to advance medical strategy while

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience required (PharmD, PhD, MD, etc).
• 2+ years of relevant MSL experience preferred.
• Strong scientific acumen and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
• Engage in high-quality two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
• Identify and cultivate professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs.
• Leverage insights and tools to develop a strategic approach for customer engagements.
• Deliver tailored scientific data to HCPs with clear, evidence-based discussion.
• Provide support for investigators and internal partners for studies.
• Respond to unsolicited research inquiries with scientifically sound information.
• Collaborate across Medical Affairs, R&D, and Sales/Marketing while maintaining compliance.
