Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team, working remotely in the Massachusetts virtual location. This field-based role emphasizes external engagement with KOLs/HCPs to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes.

Ideally you have a doctoral or master's degree in health sciences, at least two years of MSL experience, and proven ability to communicate complex data, collaborate across functions, and travel up to 70%.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred or Master’s as minimum.
• Minimum 2 years field-based MSL experience in pharma.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities comprise ~80% of duties.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans.
• Translate complex scientific data to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-minded way.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Collect and communicate medical insights to refine medical strategies.
• Identify partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Present medical insights at conferences and staff booths.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries.
• Complete CRM and admin tasks accurately and timely.
