Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team as a field-based, external customer-facing expert.

You will analyze, interpret and disseminate scientific data, translate customer insights, foster expert networks, and connect customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes. This role requires residency in the Southeast territory (Florida included).

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred; Master’s degree required
• Minimum 2 years of field-based MSL experience in pharma
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities to ~80% of responsibilities
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas and competitor landscape; interpret complex data
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies
• Collect, interpret, and internally communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs
• Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical
• Participate in medical strategy execution at conferences and share insights
• Complete CRM entries, training, expense reporting, and other admin tasks on time
