Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison in the US field to analyze and translate scientific data for external customers. You will build KOL/HCP networks across NYC, New Jersey and Philadelphia, driving medical strategy and supporting Takeda-sponsored research.

The role requires strong communication, organization and collaboration skills, with up to 70% travel for meetings and conferences. You will report to the Director, MSL and work in a fast-paced, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health sciences or higher required.
• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; MS/PA/NP acceptable minimum.
• Excellent communication, organization and collaboration skills required.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities to comprise at least 80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas and product landscape and disseminate data to KOLs/HCPs compliantly.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with medical collaboration studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
• Collect, interpret and communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine strategies and tactics.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Present and execute medical strategy at conferences and communicate insights from posters/sessions.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries within defined timelines.
• Complete required CRM entries, training, expense reporting and other admin tasks timely.
