Job summary

Falcomm is seeking a Senior RFIC Layout Engineer to drive physical implementation of RF and mmWave ICs in a collaborative environment. You will create high-quality layouts, ensure compliance with foundry rules, and work closely with RF designers, verification teams, and fabrication partners to achieve successful tape-outs and silicon performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in EE/CE/CS and 5+ years of RFIC or analog IC layout experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in RFIC or analog IC layout design.
• Strong knowledge of layout techniques and performance optimization.
• Collaborates with RFIC designers, verification teams, and fabrication partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement layout for RF and analog ICs including amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, and supporting RF blocks.
• Translate schematics into optimized physical layouts meeting performance and area targets.
• Ensure layouts comply with foundry design rules and support DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction.
• Optimize layout for RF performance, signal integrity, matching, and noise isolation.
• Support tape-out preparation and coordinate with fabrication partners.
• Collaborate with RF design, packaging, and testing teams.
• Document layout methodologies and contribute to best practices for RFIC physical design.
