Job summary

Energous Corporation in San Jose, CA, seeks an experienced RF Systems Engineer to lead architecture, development, validation, and optimization of wireless power network solutions for asset tracking. You will design low-power RF systems, integrate BLE/Wi‑Fi/UWB/LoRa, and collaborate across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing to deliver scalable products.

Applicants should have 5–10+ years in RF engineering, strong cross-functional experience, and a track record of moving products from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/RF engineering required; advanced degrees preferred.
• 5–10+ years in RF consumer electronics or wireless embedded products.
• Strong RF design, wireless systems, antenna basics, impedance and testing.
• Experience with PCB RF layout and embedded systems interactions.
• Ability to bring products to mass production with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize RF systems for asset tracking products.
• Lead RF simulations, link budgets, and system-level performance.
• Validate antenna matching networks and RF front-end performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, QA, and operations teams.
• Support design-for-manufacturability and yield improvement initiatives.
