Job summary

RTX’s Effector RF Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Senior RF Engineer to help design, analyze, and validate RF subsystems and sensors for missile products. You will contribute across disciplines to meet rigorous performance targets and support system-level requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in RF design/subsystem work, a STEM degree, and the ability to obtain interim DoD clearance. This is an onsite role with relocation eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Ability to obtain interim security clearance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate RF sensors and subsystems from MHz to mm-wave.
• Decompose system requirements into RF component requirements.
• Measure RF components, sensors, and subsystems in chamber and range tests.
• Model and analyze link budgets, RF cascades, EME, antenna patterns, and receiver performance.
