Job summary

Noblis is seeking an RF Systems Engineer to support the government RF Program Manager in technical evaluations, project management, and RF R&D. This on-site role is located in Chantilly, VA and requires active clearance.

You will advise on RF portfolio, plan technology maturation, manage budgets, and help transition mature RF hardware to flight programs as part of a growing team at Noblis.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Minimum experience: 9 years with a bachelor's, 7 with a master's, or 4 with a PhD.
• Understanding RF fundamentals and their impact on system performance.
• Ability to work on-site at US government facilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise RF PM on technical aspects of the RF portfolio.
• Plan and support technology maturation throughout the R&D lifecycle.
• Plan and execute all budgetary aspects of the R&D Program.
• Guide future RF technology development strategy and roadmaps.
• Support transition of mature RF hardware to system program offices for flight development.
• Survey state-of-the-art RF technologies and provide technical recommendations.
• Drive advancement of resiliency activities/initiatives in RF technology.
• Develop requests for proposals, statements of work, requirements, and CDRL.
• Support acquisition source selection as a technical advisor on RF tech.
• Interact with DoD, NASA, National Labs and Universities.
