Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking an RF and Antenna Engineer to support mission-critical programs for national space systems. On-site role requiring deep RF/antenna expertise, modeling, testing, and collaboration with DoD and IC customers.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in RF/antenna work, strong EM theory knowledge, and hands-on use of VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and measurement tools. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum eight years of RF/antenna experience.
• Strong understanding of RF design, propagation, and EM theory.
• Experience with VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and power meters.
• TS/SCI clearance with U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in antennas and RF components using modeling, prototyping, and measurements.
• Solve challenging problems in communications, signals collection, and remote sensing.
• Conduct technical studies, experiments, and simulations and report findings.
• Lead cross‑organizational teams and liaise with customers and program offices.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
