Job summary

You will work on embedded C/C++ code, target hardware, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on demanding performance requirements. The role is on-site with a 4/10 schedule; you will lead code reviews, produce design documentation, and engage in proposals and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
• 4+ years leading embedded software projects with DoD/DoW customers or contractors.
• 6+ years in Python and C/C++ development for real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with on-target hardware, code reviews, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to embedded C/C++ development for GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
• Develop comprehensive design and technical documentation to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
• Interpret customer specifications to define software design and modifications.
• Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to the software team.
• Support external proposals and customer engagement efforts as needed.
