Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join the Defense & Aerospace High-Power RF Solutions (HPRF) product development team.

The role acts as a hub between RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams to interpret program requirements and ensure engineering commitments are met. The position involves developing top level and subassembly requirements, monitoring design activities, and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of product development experience with complex RF systems for defense and/or aerospace applications.
• Experience with systems engineering methodologies and product development processes.
• Strong requirements management and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop top level and subassembly requirements
• Define detailed design and performance requirements
• Monitor key design activities
• Develop and maintain design engineering schedules
• Track engineering action items, technical dependencies, and design review outcomes
• Coordinate activities across RF, Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Project Management teams
