Job summary

Matrix Research, Inc. in Dayton, OH, seeks an experienced Senior RF Systems and Business Development Engineer to lead RF hardware design and drive strategic growth. You will bridge hands-on development with customer engagement to advance radar, EW, and SDR platforms.

The role combines architecture, bench testing, and integration with digital/FPGA processing, while leading capture efforts and proposals for DoD and commercial clients. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on RF hardware design, board-level development and systems integration.
• Deep expertise in radar, EW, SDRs, or RF front-end architecture.
• Experience interfacing RF subsystems with digital hardware, high-speed converters and FPGA processing.
• Proficiency with lab instrumentation for characterization and verification.
• Proven track record in technical business development and competitive proposal writing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or closely related field.
• U.S. citizens capable of obtaining/maintaining DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, schematic design, bench testing, and integration of RF hardware and SDR subsystems.
• Lead technical marketing, customer engagement, and capture initiatives across DoD and commercial customers.
• Translate hardware capabilities into winning proposals, white papers, and system concepts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance RF solutions.
