Job summary

MatrixSpace is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager, Hardware Systems to drive planning and execution of radar hardware development from concept to production and deployment. You will own a unified hardware execution plan across Radar/RF teams, coordinating requirements, milestones, readiness gates, and supplier engagement in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience managing complex hardware development programs or cross-functional engineering initiatives.
Strong understanding of hardware product-development lifecycles across radar/RF, electrical, mechanical, embedded systems, FPGA, or related teams.
Experience translating complex priorities into actionable work plans and milestones; leading hardware phase-gate reviews.
Experience managing supplier, component, long-lead material, prototype, test-equipment, and manufacturing dependencies with Supply Chain, Quality and Operations.
Excellent ability to engage engineering teams and senior leaders, identify risks, challenge timelines, and drive alignment.
Proven ability to lead through influence without direct authority, across a matrixed organization.
Ability to work with senior technical leaders without owning architecture or decision-making.

Responsibilities

Participate early in program formation to test execution assumptions, resources, dependencies, schedules, and risks.
Own and maintain the unified hardware execution plan across Radar/RF development teams.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and customer programs to integrate requirements into a single executable plan.
Translate priorities into clear work packages and establish an efficient planning cadence.
Validate resource commitments, schedules, dependencies, and risks; surface gaps early.
Track execution and communicate progress and risks to leadership; resolve cross-functional blockers.
Lead through influence during cross-functional phase-gate reviews from feasibility to production.
Coordinate ISO and quality-system audits and ensure audit readiness.
