Job summary

Matrix Research, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior RF Systems and Business Development Engineer in Dayton, Ohio to lead RF hardware design and drive strategic growth. You will bridge hands-on development with market-facing capture initiatives across DoD and commercial partners.

The role combines architecture, bench testing, and subsystem integration with FPGA-based processing. You will also spearhead technical marketing and proposal development, leveraging a strong background in radar/EW/SDR

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on RF hardware design, board-level development, and systems integration.
Deep expertise in radar, EW, SDRs, or RF front-end architecture.
Ability to interface RF subsystems with digital hardware and FPGA processing.
Laboratory instrumentation for characterization and verification.
Experience with technical business development and proposal authoring (BAAs, SBIRs, RFPs).
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; U.S. citizen able to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, schematic design, bench testing, and integration of RF hardware and SDR subsystems with digital/FPGAs.
Drive technical marketing, customer engagement, and capture initiatives across DoD, primes, and commercial customers; translate capabilities into proposals and white papers.
Collaborate with lab teams to advance radar, EW, and SDR platform concepts and demonstrations.
