Job summary

Raytheon in Plano, TX is seeking a Senior RF System Analysis Engineer to support the Radar Sensor Systems production and sustainment program. The role requires extensive experience with AESA platforms and RF measurement equipment, and collaboration with Systems Engineers to resolve complex issues on production, testing, and fielded hardware.

You will perform failure investigations, develop analysis tools in MATLAB, and deliver technical reports to management and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM such as Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in RF data analysis and fault isolation.
• Experience with RF equipment: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
• Experience with Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA).
• Experience with Digital Receiver Exciter (DREX) Subassemblies.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address issues.
• Develop analysis tools to identify and resolve problems.
• Perform trade studies to optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineers to implement solutions.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risk.
• Generate technical reports for management and customers.
• This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to remote work possibilities.
• Expect to travel 15% of the time.
