Job summary

Raytheon in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Development Support Electrical Engineer to collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to resolve production issues. You will support design reviews, test equipment development, and test requirements, contributing to Advanced Airborne Sensor programs.

The role requires a STEM degree, 5+ years of relevant experience, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in design/production support, network, or process engineering.
Experience analyzing technical data.
Experience with schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting.
Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
Active and transferable US Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware down to CCA, server, switch, and component levels including analog/digital/power circuits.
Perform technical evaluations of hardware and disposition failures.
Prioritize and implement improvement opportunities.
Communicate status updates to program leadership.
Develop test equipment and establish test requirements and procedures.
Travel up to 25% to other Raytheon facilities, suppliers, or customer sites.
