Job summary

Raytheon in Plano, TX seeks a Senior Development Support Electrical Engineer to collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and engineering teams to resolve production issues. Qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in design/production support, network, or process engineering.
  • Experience analyzing technical data.
  • Experience with schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting.
  • Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
  • Active and transferable US Government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware down to CCA, server, switch, and component levels including analog/digital/power circuits.
  • Perform technical evaluations of hardware and disposition failures.
  • Prioritize and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate status updates to program leadership.
  • Develop test equipment and establish test requirements and procedures.
  • Travel up to 25% to other Raytheon facilities, suppliers, or customer sites.
