Job summary

Emerson seeks a Technical Support Engineer to resolve complex SDR and USRP hardware/software issues and to train customers and teammates. You will collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Services Engineering to drive advanced support for top-tier accounts and to improve platform knowledge across the organization.

You must be able to travel up to 20% and communicate effectively with engineers, scientists, and customers across diverse backgrounds. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science degree required with preferred Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role or relevant industry experience.
• Experience owning and advocating for customer issues with fast/troubleshooting skills.
• Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Able to train internal or external customers on NI products.

Responsibilities

• Resolves technical issues for customers focusing on Enterprise and Strategic Tiers.
• Leads with deep Product and Platform knowledge of USRP Hardware and UHD software.
• Expands SDR opportunities by providing technical insights to Sales.
• Resolves escalations and partners with Sales on support strategy for targets.
• Maintains relationships with R&D and escalations.
• Educates other TSEs and customers through advanced training and education.
