Sigma Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to advance RF technology and MIL-SPEC prototypes. You will collaborate with customers and engineers to design, develop, and test prototype systems.

The role requires 1–2 years of SDR experience, GNURadio and Python programming, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance (sponsorship provided for the right candidate). Various benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with software defined radios.
• Experience programming SDRs using GNURadio and Python.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Clearance sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new RF technology/systems and MIL-SPEC prototypes.
• Interact with customers and engineers to develop designs for prototypes.
• Assist in developing modulation schemes based on customer input and test data.
