Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to partner with engineers and scientists, solving complex RF/USRP/SDR challenges and ensuring customer success. You will advocate for customers, coordinate with R&D, and help shape product and support strategies across global teams.

You will train others, manage escalations, and deliver deep technical guidance on NI hardware and UHD software to ensure premium product experiences for enterprise and strategic accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Computer Science required; Electrical/Computer Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience owning customer issues and internal escalation.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Advanced knowledge of RF, USRP, or SDR.

Responsibilities

• Resolves technical issues for customers focusing on Enterprise and Strategic Tiers.
• Advices on SDR applications and connects customer needs to R&D and Sales.
• Escalates platform and system issues to R&D and coordinates with Support Coordinators.
• Partners with Sales to define a support strategy for targeted accounts.
• Develops and shares knowledge to enable self-service resolutions.
