Job summary

RTX’s Effector RF Team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior RF Engineer to contribute to RF subsystems and sensors within missile products. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to design, test, and implement RF solutions across wide frequency ranges, ensuring performance for chamber and range environments.

The role requires a BS in STEM with 5+ years of RF experience, strong cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the ability to obtain interim security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 5+ years of RF subsystem design, integration or test.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and integrate RF sensors and subsystems across MHz to mm-wave.
• Decompose system requirements into RF component requirements.
• Measure RF components/sensors/subsystems in chamber and range environments.
• Model and analyze link budgets, RF cascades, EMI/EMV, antenna patterns, and receiver/transmitter specs.
