Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior RF Engineer (RF SME) in Huntsville to provide senior-level RF and radar expertise for DoD and IC programs. You will conduct all-source analysis, develop radar models, and assess performance to support acquisition, testing, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
• 15+ years of RF engineering, radar systems, weapon system analysis, or related field.
• Expertise in radar systems and subsystems and complex foreign air defense or weapon systems.
• Experience conducting or leading all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis.
• Experience developing or applying modeling and simulation methods to complex weapon system problems.
• Experience providing technical leadership to DoD/Intelligence Community, acquisition, test and evaluation, or operational organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical programs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to present technical findings to senior government and mission stakeholders.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to satisfy polygraph requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior RF and radar SME for complex foreign air defense analyses.
• Provide technical oversight for radar system and subsystem analysis for warfighter and acquisition customers.
• Lead large, complex hardware programs including multinational efforts.
• Conduct all-source scientific and technical intelligence analyses on current and future weapon systems.
• Develop and assess radar modeling and simulation studies for performance characterization.
• Advise U.S. acquisition programs and government stakeholders on risks and findings.
• Plan technical exchanges and conferences with IC, defense industry, and allied partners.
• Prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports for senior audiences.
• Mentor engineers and analysts and deliver radar training for government workforce.
