Job summary

KBR seeks a Senior RF Engineer (RF SME) to provide expert radio frequency and radar subject matter expertise for DoD and IC programs. The role leads complex technical efforts, oversees all-source analyses, develops radar models and simulations, and delivers authoritative reports for senior decision-makers.

The candidate will mentor engineers, coordinate cross-agency collaboration, and present findings through briefings and training materials. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of RF engineering and radar systems experience.
• Experience with all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis.
• Experience developing or applying modeling and simulation methods for weapon systems.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and advisory support to DoD/IC programs.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to satisfy polygraph requirement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior RF and radar SME for complex foreign air defense and weapon system analyses.
• Provide technical oversight for radar system and subsystem analysis supporting warfighter, policy, acquisition, and test & evaluation customers.
• Lead large, complex technical and hardware programs, including multinational and foreign materiel exploitation efforts.
• Conduct all-source scientific and technical intelligence analysis of current and future weapon systems.
• Develop, apply, and assess modeling and simulation studies to characterize radar performance and aircraft survivability.
• Advise major U.S. acquisition programs and other government stakeholders on technical risks and findings.
• Plan and lead technical exchanges and conferences with IC, defense industry, and allied partners.
• Prepare and deliver technical briefings and reports for senior audiences.
• Mentor engineers and analysts and develop radar training for government workforce.
