Job summary

KBR is seeking a Senior Radar Engineer in Huntsville to lead radar system analyses, algorithm development, and performance assessments for Air and Missile Defense programs. You will collaborate with Government customers, industry partners, and internal teams to drive technical direction and risk assessment across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (EE, Physics) from an accredited institution.
  • 15+ years in radar-related fields (signal processing, systems engineering, RF).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct radar and mission-level performance analyses to support Air and Missile Defense programs.
  • Perform sensor system analysis, architecture assessments, and engineering trade studies.
  • Develop radar algorithms and performance metrics with MATLAB/Python.
  • Review technical documentation, requirements, and SOWs; provide risk analyses and recommendations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering efforts and serve as a technical liaison with Government customers.
