Job summary

KBR seeks an experienced RF Engineer to join a defense-focused program in Virginia. The role involves designing RF subsystems, performing simulations, and supporting system integration and testing in lab and field environments.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in RF systems engineering, experience with RF communications, radar, and related technologies, and proficiency with tools like MATLAB, ADS, CST, HFSS. On-site work with limited travel is expected.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
15+ years of RF systems engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, and evaluate RF subsystems, components, and architectures to meet mission requirements.
Perform RF modeling, simulation, link budget analysis, and performance assessments.
Develop and review technical requirements, interface documentation, and engineering artifacts.
Support system integration, verification, validation, and test activities in lab and field environments.
Conduct trade studies to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Analyze test data and implement corrective actions and recommendations.
Collaborate with government, contractor, and cross-functional teams throughout the lifecycle.
