Job summary

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to lead RF power amplifier design for cellular and Wi‑Fi front‑end applications.

You will guide architectures across GaAs, CMOS‑SOI and other processes, mentor engineers, and drive high‑impact, production‑level PA solutions. You will collaborate with Murata and pSemi teams to shape roadmaps, define design methodologies, and validate performance with advanced test setups.

Qualifications

• 12+ years RF FEM product development experience.
• 5+ years GaAs PA development experience.
• Experience with envelope tracking (ET) PA for mobile applications.
• Hands-on design of efficient, linear PA across 600 MHz–20 GHz.
• Knowledge of GaAs HBT, CMOS-SOI, SiGe, GaN processes.
• Experience with RFIC lab measurements and circuit debugging.
• Tape-outs and full product life cycle involvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of novel RF PA architectures and transmit chains.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple programs and reviews.
• Drive PA design across multiple processes and modulation approaches.
• Collaborate across pSemi and Murata teams to align design decisions.
• Develop proofs-of-concept and transition technologies to production.
