Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a seasoned electronics tester at our Mount Holly Springs facility. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBAs and oscillators, ensuring compliance with specifications and customer requirements.

The role emphasizes RF-related testing, precision, and documentation. Candidates should have 5+ years in electronic testing with an associate degree in electronics or 10+ years of equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in electronic testing, troubleshooting, and assembly; oscillator/RF/PCBA experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documents; detail-oriented with good documentation.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair PCBAs, modules, oscillators, and electronic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems to component and circuit level.
• Diagnose issues related to frequency stability, phase noise, waveform, and power consumption.
• Use oscilloscopes, frequency counters, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and signal generators.
• Document results and coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.
