Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an electronics tester to join our Mount Holly Springs facility. You will identify, read and interpret process docs, operate basic test equipment and perform basic soldering of surface mount components.

On-the-job training is provided and you’ll work in a collaborative team. The role requires a minimum 2 years in electronic testing, strong attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic or product testing.
• Quality- and safety-minded with detail-oriented organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic PC and math skills with knowledge of electronics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, read, and interpret process documentation to perform automated testing.
• Interpret test data to determine pass/fail results.
• Operate basic test equipment (multimeter) and automated test systems.
• Perform basic soldering of surface mount components.
• Other duties as assigned.
