Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician II-Engineering for our Beverly, Massachusetts facility.

You will work in a highly technical environment, operating manufacturing and testing techniques to support product engineers and resolve production-related issues. The role requires an Associate’s degree with 10+ years in electronics assembly and testing, plus experience reading schematics, soldering, and space-qualified techniques.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in electronics assembly and testing.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings.
• Experience in soldering and cable assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in space qualified construction and testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot product test failures to the component level and determine root causes.
• Generate NCRs for production test issues.
• Support Product Engineers in resolving production-related issues.
• Assist operators with testing and troubleshooting production hardware.
• Perform failure analysis using strong troubleshooting techniques.
• Operate RF/Microwave test equipment and fixtures.
