Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Richardson, TX is seeking an Advanced Test Engineer to lead development and execution of sophisticated test plans for MMICs and RF assemblies. You will design automated ATE software using LabVIEW and languages like Python, C, and VB, calibrate RF systems, and drive high-throughput testing in a hybrid work environment.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, contribute to test strategy, and advance reliability of aerospace products through rigorous design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
• Minimum of 5 years of RF experience with ATE for RF/Microwave.
• Minimum of 3 years of test software development including LabVIEW, Python, C, C++ and MS SQL.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing or a high-tech electronics industry.
• Minimum of 2 years using Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint and Excel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test software for ATE systems using LabVIEW, Python, C, C++, VB and other tools.
• Analyze customer specifications to define test requirements and acceptance criteria for MMIC testing.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, fixtures, and software/hardware interfaces.
• Perform RF characterization of MMIC/semiconductor devices, including S-parameters and two-tone measurements.
• Set up, calibrate, and execute RF test systems and on-wafer probe testing.
• Troubleshoot RF circuits using microwave theory knowledge.
• Conduct statistical analysis and generate detailed technical reports.
• Manage laboratory operations, databases, calibration, asset tracking, and vendor procurement support.
