Job summary

The Narda Microwave Corporation in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a Senior Engineering Technician to join our Operations team. This hands‑on role focuses on testing, tuning, troubleshooting, and manufacturing advanced RF products in a fast‑paced RF/microwave environment.

You will support production of RF, microwave, millimeter‑wave, and frequency conversion products, collaborating with Design, Manufacturing, Quality and Operations to solve complex problems and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Extensive RF/microwave testing, tuning, troubleshooting and characterization experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and manufacturing docs.
• Experience with precision assembly, inspection, and micro‑level work using microscopes.

Responsibilities

• Test, tune, troubleshoot, and validate RF/microwave products from discrete to subsystems.
• Characterize RF performance with advanced test instrumentation and data analysis.
• Support New Product Introduction and production readiness.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in production processes.
• Mentor junior technicians and maintain accurate test records.
