Job summary

Narda-MITEQ, located in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a Sr. Associate RF/Microwave Engineer to join an experienced team developing cutting-edge integrated microwave assemblies and high-frequency components. You will contribute to circuit synthesis, CAE analysis, bench testing, and manufacturing-friendly designs.

The role emphasizes hands-on bench work, collaboration across functions, and meeting technical performance, schedule, and cost targets on programs with moderate impact on the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience with microwave test equipment such as network/spectrum analyzers, power meters, or noise figure meters.
• Experience with linear CAE, particularly Keysight ADS, to simulate and design microwave circuits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with other functional areas.
• Ability to gain Secret Level Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support production of active and passive microwave circuits and multi-function modules.
• Perform linear simulations of active and passive microwave circuits.
• Perform EM simulations of passive microwave circuits.
• Support RF and microwave subassembly system analysis.
• Develop specifications for microwave components and subassemblies.
• Perform RF testing, data analysis, and documentation of design results.
• Design for ease of manufacturing.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout review, integration and troubleshooting.
