Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead packaging of antennas, RF circuit cards, radomes, and RF test equipment. This onsite role requires coordinating multidiscipline teams and guiding technology roadmaps.

You will mentor staff, define requirements with customers, and ensure cost, schedule, and performance targets are met. A DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain program access are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years in RF/mechanical design.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on RF hardware projects.
• Ability to obtain interim clearance and pursue program access.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design activities involving RF hardware
• Lead others by understanding team dynamics and capitalizing on multidisciplined strengths
• Lead trade studies to determine best solution and ensure cost/schedule/performance
• Regularly convey task status on complex issues and influence plans
• Fill roles to help ensure business unit success
