Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Senior Manufacturing RF DFX Engineer to own end-to-end RF design integration for TeraWave modules, bridging RF/microwave circuit design with volume production readiness and manufacturability. You will work on hardware intended for orbital scale and rapid ramp, collaborating across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of RF/microwave design or RF systems integration in product development and volume production.
• Hands-on experience with RF assembly, including connectorization, shielding, calibration, RF test, and line bring-up.
• Demonstrated application of DFX (DFM/DFT/DFA/DFR) in bringing RF assemblies to volume production.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF/microwave assembly design for satellite communication modules and subsystems (RF front-ends, transceivers, filters, amplifiers, antennas, feeds, waveguides).
• Own RF assembly process development, calibration, impedance-controlled routing, shielding, and integration workflows for robust, repeatable assembly.
