Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, validation, and release of embedded electronic systems and technology platforms.

You will translate product needs into robust technical requirements and architectures, mentor engineers, own schematics and PCB design, collaborate with global teams, conduct experiments, and guide production readiness while traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems and hardware design.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCBAs and power-electronics fundamentals.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded hardware design, prototyping, testing, and release.
• Develop system and component-level requirements and architectures.
• Review schematics, perform simulations, ensure signal integrity.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate across global teams.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for hardware/firmware issues.
