Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead cross-functional development for next-generation power tools, from concept through production. You will design, prototype, test, and validate electronics systems, collaborating with marketing, platform engineering, and contract manufacturers.

You will evaluate new technologies, perform RCAs, and ensure manufacturability while maintaining tight project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in related design field.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
• Knowledge of power electronics, motors, and motor control systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify technology gaps to product development and evaluate new technologies.
• Design and build initial prototypes and concept models of electronics systems with manufacturability.
• Develop test plans, perform simulations, conduct experiments, and assess feasibility via data.
• Provide hands-on assistance from concept to production and present to cross-functional audiences.
• Maintain familiarity with Milwaukee’s development and manufacturing processes and collaborate with global teams.
• Track design and testing workflows to align with project schedules and development processes.
