Blue Origin in Cupertino, CA seeks a senior PCB design engineer to develop multi‑layer PCBs for mmWave and RF systems. You will handle complex layouts, impedance control, and high‑speed signal integrity for space-grade applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Responsibilities include creating fabrication drawings, evaluating stackups, and supporting board bring‑up in a space‑environment context.

Formación

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of PCB design experience with HDI/high-speed layouts.
• Understanding of impedance control, PCB stackup optimization, and EMI/EMC.
• Experience with FP­GA, high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with IPC standards and space-grade design practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design multi-layer PCBs for mmWave and MICROWAVE RF and high‑power systems.
• Develop layouts for Digital/Analog/RF circuits with impedance control.
• Perform signal integrity analysis for high-speed interfaces.
• Create libraries, DRCs, and maintain design standards.
• Collaborate on component selection, schematic review, and optimization.
• Generate fabrication/assembly docs: Gerber, drill, and assembly drawings.
• Coordinate with PCB fabs and CM vendors for manufacturability.
• Support board bring-up and debug hardware issues related to design.
• Incorporate space environment considerations: thermal, radiation, vibration.
