Job summary

Blue Origin seeks a Principal PCB Hardware Engineer to design and validate the TeraWave network switch PCB. You will lead multi-layer PCB layouts for high-speed interfaces, perform SI/PI analysis, and work with firmware and software teams on bring-up and debugging to ensure reliable space-grade hardware.

Responsibilities include defining layer stack-ups, conducting 3D EM simulations, and delivering robust designs for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in high-speed PCB design and hardware development.
• Proven track record shipping complex, high-speed PCBs to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware bring-up and validation of the TeraWave switch PCB.
• Design high-speed PCB layouts for SerDes interfaces up to 100GbE and beyond.
• Collaborate with firmware and software teams for BSP integration and hardware‑software interface debugging.
• Define and review PCB layer stack‑ups with fabricators to meet SI and PI requirements.
