Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior PCB Layout Engineer to design multi-layer PCBs for mmWave and microwave RF, mixed-signal, and high-power systems, including FPGAs and microcontrollers.

You will ensure impedance-controlled layouts, perform signal integrity analysis for PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet, collaborate on component selection, and prepare fabrication and assembly documentation for space-grade manufacturing.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years PCB design experience.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools and signal integrity for high-speed interfaces.
• Familiarity with IPC standards and space environment considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design multi-layer PCBs for mmWave/microwave RF and mixed-signal systems.
• Develop layouts with impedance control and EMI/EMC best practices.
• Perform SI analysis for PCIe, DDR, Ethernet; create fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers on components, DFM/DFT, and space-grade requirements.
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and manufacturing coordination.
