Job summary

Zebra Technologies Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager RF and EE to lead a team that designs, develops, evaluates, and modifies RF/wireless-enabled products in development per customer, regulatory, and operator requirements. The role is on-site 3 days a week at our Holtsville, NY office, with 2 days remote from anywhere in the US.

You will guide performance, invent innovative RF solutions, and ensure deliverables meet stringent standards. Travel ~20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 12+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Industry experience in embedded RF/wireless circuit design & System integration.
• Strong communication, collaboration, EM fields and RF/wireless system design skills.
• Deep low-level RF circuit design expertise.

Responsibilities

• Directs and controls the activities and associated operating budget of the RF department in a product group, division, sub-region, or country.
• Contributes to policy innovation and integrated business solutions with input into strategy formation.
• Manages development programs and/or strategic initiatives.
• Develops and implements operational policies within area managed, delegating assignments.
• Accountable for profitability and/or cost containment by impacting P&L through various functions.
• Develops and implements programs to improve processes, reduce costs and cycle time, and enhance customer service.
• Internally recognized leader who selects methods and evaluation criteria to obtain results.
• Uses RF wireless expertise to contribute to developing creative solutions.
