Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Holtsville, NY is seeking a Senior Hardware Electrical Engineer to bring concepts to production, leading embedded microprocessor and high-speed PCB design for RFID products.

You will design and test digital/analog control systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and guide development from concept through production while advancing your skills in a cutting-edge environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in embedded system design & hardware development.
• Experience with DSP/ARM hardware development and testing.
• Strong knowledge of digital and analog systems.
• Schematic capture and PCB layout proficiency (Cadence a plus).

Responsibilities

• Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
• May interact with users to define system requirements and modifications.
• Analyze designs to designate necessary equipment to collect data.
• Evaluate and synthesize experimental tests and their results.
• Read and design plans to build electrical systems on various products and machinery.
• Focus on manipulation and use of electricity within engineered processes.
• Exercising judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solutions.
