Job summary

Epirus is seeking a Senior Test Engineer, Electromagnetic Laboratory to oversee a multi-client testing facility. You will lead test execution for RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC testing, mentor engineers, and act as the primary engineering consultant for aerospace, defense, and commercial clients.

The role requires hands-on lab management, automation scripting, and strong project management with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-8 years RF/Antenna OTA/EMC test experience with a BS.
• Strong knowledge of RF test principles and standards (MIL-STD-461/DO-160).
• Experience developing automated test stands and mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own daily lab operations for two large anechoic chambers and RF test equipment.
• Mentor a small team of test engineers and serve as primary liaison with clients.
• Lead RF, Antenna OTA, and EMC tests per statements of work and aerospace/defense standards.
• Develop automation scripts (Python, MATLAB) to optimize test time and data collection.
• Provide engineering support to troubleshoot and produce compliance-ready reports.
• Coordinate lab scheduling and prioritize multiple client accounts.
• Collaborate with the broader test engineering org to refine methods and measurement techniques.
