Job summary

SGS in Lawton, OK seeks a Sr Test Engineer to lead a multi-client electromagnetic testing lab, overseeing RF, OTA, and EMC testing. This role requires strong expertise and leadership to drive operations and ensure client satisfaction.

You will mentor engineers, develop automation scripts in Python and MATLAB, and coordinate with the broader team to meet complex aerospace/defense requirements. The position is on-site in Lawton.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years with BS or 3-5 years with MS in RF/EMC testing.
• Strong RF/OTA/EMC test principles and lab practices.
• Experience with aerospace/defense standards (MIL-STD-461, DO-160).

Responsibilities

• Lead daily ops for two large anechoic chambers and RF test gear.
• Mentor a small team of test engineers.
• Liaise with clients throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Perform RF, Antenna OTA, EMC tests per SOW and standards.
• Create automation scripts in Python and MATLAB.
• Support clients to troubleshoot and generate reports.
• Schedule lab work and prioritize multiple accounts.
• Coordinate with Torrance, CA group on methods.
• Oversee calibration and preventive maintenance.
