VTG Defense seeks an experienced RF Software Engineer to support a mission-focused customer through the full life-cycle development of a Radio Frequency Processing System at Fort Meade, MD.

You will design, develop, test, and optimize DSP algorithms in software, and maintain RF-related software using C++, Python, Linux, or similar technologies for high-throughput signal processing environments.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship with TS/SCI with Poly.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related DSP field.
• 7+ years of experience as a DSP algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes.
• 7+ years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development technologies.
• Formal training in or proficiency with C++ and Linux.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, implement, test, and optimize DSP algorithms in software.
• Develop algorithms supporting high-throughput signal exploitation and processing.
• Develop signal-processing solutions for complex environments (Low SNR, higher-order/adaptive modulation).
• Develop and maintain DSP and RF-related software using C++, Python, Linux.
• Translate DSP concepts into operational software; modify software to meet government requirements.
• Integrate COTS/GOTS products and develop models/algorithms for processing signals of interest.
• Analyze and optimize algorithms for performance, throughput, and accuracy.
• Support integration of algorithms into larger RF and signal-processing systems.
