Job summary

VTG Defense is seeking an experienced RF Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize RF and DSP software for government systems. You will work on high-performance algorithms using C++, Python, and Linux, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet mission requirements.

The role demands strong DSP expertise, RF signal processing knowledge, and a security clearance. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects using standard software processes.
• 4 years of software development experience using C++, Linux, Python, or similar technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in Linux-based development environments.
• US Citizenship with TS/SCI with Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and optimize RF and DSP algorithms for advanced signal processing.
• Develop high-performance software for RF signal detection, analysis, processing, and exploitation.
• Design and implement algorithms for high-throughput signal processing and adaptive modulation.
• Maintain and enhance software applications using C++, Python, and Linux.
• Analyze RF signals and develop algorithms to improve processing performance.
• Modify existing software/firmware to meet evolving requirements.
• Integrate COTS/GOTS technologies to meet government needs.
• Develop, test, debug, and validate RF software for accuracy and reliability.
• Optimize algorithms for efficiency and system performance.
• Document software architecture and DSP models clearly for team reuse.
• Collaborate with RF engineers and software teams throughout the lifecycle.
